This month it's Friday night comedy at the Festival Hall in Alderley Edge!!
Manford's Comedy Club will be bringing another show to town on Friday 18th May with a live comedy show that features four hilarious comedians who are well-known names on the UK comedy circuit and are all personally chosen by Jason Manford.
Look forward to a great evening of original stand-up comedy from some very funny people, and we've even got Jason's little brother Colin coming over to MC the show this time.
Here's a quick introduction to the comedians appearing at this next show:
Colin Manford - Colin Manford is a North West based comedian who also happens to be Jason's little brother! His humour is much darker though!
An accomplished writer, actor and presenter, he just loves to tell stories from his own unique perspective, all areas covered from his failed relationships to his weird and wonderful family life and more. No-holds barred comedy at its finest mixed with strong Northern wit from this larger than life Mancunian.
Dave Longley - Dave Longley is a difficult comedian to define; on the one hand, abrasive, crude and insulting and on the other, articulate, intelligent and disarmingly funny. Longley's towering stage presence and intensity, combined with his cutting wit have made him one of the most popular and controversial circuit comics in the UK, whether it's doling out thought-provoking insights or reveling in toilet humour.
Dave has a humble silliness which ingratiates him to audiences, he delivers deadpan accounts of his everyday life which are shockingly honest, well considered and divinely funny.
Rachel Fairburn - No-nonsense Northerner! Sweet as chocolate and twice as dark, Rachel's comedy treads the line between kitchen sink confessional and a bleakness unmatched by her peers.
Newcomer Rachel is one to watch out for, she has been a finalist in several prestigious competitions including Funny Women and City Life Comedian of the Year. She can move from amiable and engaging comedy to serial killers in the same sentence. Aside from gigging up and down the country, Rachel co-hosts and co-writes the popular serial killer themed podcast All Killa No Filla.
Geoff Boyz - Scottish comedian and impressionist - fast and very funny!
Geoff is a master of observational comedy, in which he takes the mundane and every day events and adds his hilarious twist.
He has appeared in various TV panel games and stand-up shows, hosts corporate events and also acts as a studio warm-up man. He has performed across the world and was one of the first British comics to perform in China.
