Local residents are being invited to join Transition Wilmslow who have put together another foraging walk in Wilmslow.

Following the success of last year's event, the community group has arranged for expert forager James Wood from Totally Wild UK to join them on Saturday, June 2nd.

They will be meeting at 10am prompt at The Parish Hall Car Park on Cliff Road.

Advance tickets cost £20 over adult, until April 30th, increasing to £22 from May 1st. Children are free.

Pat Baker, of Transition Wilmslow, said "The ticket Includes tasters on the walk and a wild food lunch for participants at the end of the course – which is seasonally dependent but can range from nettle soup to wild inspired salad."

Participants should also bring a foraging basket or bag to take your goodies home.
