Pete Taylor kindly sent us this photo of Fulshaw Cross roundabout.

He said "Well done to Wilmslow Town Council for the planters around the town and also to Cheshire East Council for the splendid display of daffodils on the roundabout and in the Memorial Gardens by the Bollin."

It would be sensible if the planters were not blocking half of the pavement. It is marked as a joint cycle lane and pavement and it is too narrow and potentially dangerous with their position. They could have been set further back where the grass is. It is hard enough walking on the pavement with all the parked vehicles and overgrown foliage.

Ahem! I obtained sacks of bulbs many many years ago from Bollin Valley Trust and via St Bartholemews Church got children from Lacey Green school to plant them above the war memorial, through the church yard, and in the Carr’s car park by the Hall.
Their precedes the formation of WTC. Nevertheless, WTC have taken up our enthusiasm for civic pride and really do make a difference.
Now finally, here’s hoping that they can sort out the shocking state of the stable block in the leasure centre car park. The last big problem along Adlington Rd.
