A couple stole a laptop valued at £500 and accessories from a store in Wilmslow town centre on Friday, 23rd March.
The theft having occurred at Mobitech in the Grove Arcade at approximately 1pm when a man and woman entered the store with a pram.
The female distracted a member staff while the male picked up a Dell laptop and placed it in pram before both they made their excuses and left the shop.
The couple are described as white, aged in their 30's and wearing tired looking clothes.
Sergeant John O'Driscoll said "Enquiries in relation to the incident are ongoing and anyone with any information is asked to contact Cheshire Police on 101 quoting incident number IML22078."
He added "We are not aware of any other similar distraction thefts in the town centre."
