Car stolen overnight during Handforth Road burglary

House to house enquiries are being carried out on Handforth Road today after a burglary was carried out early this week.

The occupant went to bed at approximately 1am on Friday, 16th February, and came back downstairs at 10.30am the following day to discover that a ground floor window had been forced allowing offender(s) to gain entry to the premises.

Offenders took the keys of the occupant's vehicle and subsequently stole a black VW Golf.

Enquiries are ongoing and the vehicle is still outstanding.

Anyone with information is urged to call Cheshire Police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
