Helen Eriksen Wedding and Event Design is a luxury wedding planning service that combines fashion and design to give every couple the chance to experience the wedding day of their dreams.
Based in Wilmslow, creative director and owner Helen Eriksen specialises in UK-based weddings, which offer a true wow factor.
Helen was inspired to launch her business in 2014 after noticing a gap in the market for a high-end planning service in the North of England, and she has been able to use her own professional experience and flair for design to create the most beautiful and memorable weddings for her clients.
Helen's determination to offer a truly unique planning experience was acknowledged last week when she was awarded the much-coveted title of 'North West Wedding Planner of 2018' by the Wedding Industry Awards (TWIA). The TWIA logo has become a mark of the highest quality coveted by wedding suppliers all over the country and, most importantly, by couples getting married - A "kite mark" for the wedding industry.
"To be awarded this title is an absolute honour for me. The Wedding Industry Awards are widely recognised as the most credible and reliable awards out there and hold considerable weight within the industry and with couples planning their big day." Says Helen "They are the only client voted awards which obviously has a lot more meaning. The judging process is rigorous and the panel comprises of some of the finest in the industry. Over the last year I have had the opportunity to work with some truly fantastic couples and I really couldn't be happier right now."
Prior to entering the wedding industry, Helen spent ten years as a practising solicitor. This legal experience affords her clients the benefits of meticulous attention to detail and the highest levels of luxury service.
Each wedding is designed to reflect the love and lifestyle of the happy couple, guaranteeing a personal experience from start to finish. Helen's goal is to take all the stress out of planning by handling every last detail, so that her clients can simply relax and enjoy the excitement of their big day.
Helen is passionate about design and detail. Her wedding planning service begins with an in-depth consultation, and includes venue selection, supplier sourcing, administration and on-the-day coordination.
Helen Eriksen Wedding and Event Design is a member of the UK Alliance for Wedding Planners (UKAWP), and holds itself to the highest professional standards at all times, ensuring the entire planning process goes smoothly.
Helen will now automatically progress to the national finals held in London on Wednesday 17th January, 2018.
