Fire crews were called to a van fire, which contained gas cannisters, on Adlington Road in Wilmslow this morning.
One fire engine from Poynton and one from Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service attended the incident at 8.37am on Tuesday, 3rd September.
On arrival crews found the van was well alight and crews, two wearing breathing apparatus, used two hose reel jets and two ground monitor jets to fight the fire. Police set up a cordon around the incident whilst it was ongoing.
One male casualty was treated at the scene for burns and handed into the care of paramedics.
A fire investigation has started into the incident.
