Plans to turn former creche into restaurant approved

Plans to enable a new restaurant to open in a town centre unit which has been vacant for several years have been given the go ahead.

The application for a change of use for 40 Parsonage Green, the premises previously occupied by the children's creche Kiddycreche, have been approved by Cheshire East Council.

Planning permission was granted in October 2016 to change the use of the vacant premises to enable a new coffee shop, tea room and snack bar to open.

However Alexander Dino, who runs the 900 degrees restaurant located just a few doors away, since applied to change the use from A3 Coffee Shop to A3 Restaurant.

The application states that the proposed opening hours of the restaurant are 11.30am to 11pm and it is expected to provide jobs for six full-time and four part-time members of staff.

If Alexander Dino can continue the success similar to the wonderful 900 Degrees then bring it on, the sooner The better.
The fact that so many coffee shops and restaurants are successful maybe indicates what we residents want - if we didn't they simply would not survive (however odd that may seem to some).

Best of luck. Knowing the guys that are attempting this change , and having done work in preparation for the same on the internals, It can only be a great success. The long term plans are brilliant !

I look forward to contributing further to the finished project.

Another restaurant? Yippee! Just what we need.

I agree it's better than empty premises but I'd love to know how all these places survive with so much competition? We have 30? 40? restaurants/bars in Wilmslow now?

Where are all these diners coming from?
