Firefighters were called to a large fire in a field off Prestbury Road in Wilmslow on Tuesday, 15th August.
On fire engine from Wilmslow attended the incident just after 9pm where a stack of wood was well alight in the field.
Firefighters were required to attend the blaze on foot and use a main jet to extinguish it.
Water was pumped from a nearby pond to fight it.
Earlier in the day a fire engine from Wilmslow attended an incident on Colshaw Drive where a small quantity of paper on fire in the open. Firefighter used a hose reel to extinguish the fire.
