The teams at the six offices of Chafes Hague Lambert Solicitors launched their year of fundraising on Friday evening. The staff all got together at Macclesfield Rugby Club for a fun evening of live music, raffles and quizzes all to 'kick off' raising money for each of the offices selected charity of the year.

In 2016/17 the firm raised over £1900 for their charity of the year, Cross Roads Derbyshire who are dedicated to helping women and children break free from domestic abuse. This year they have done things a bit differently and each office has nominated a local charity that is close to the individual teams hearts, this way 6 charities will benefit in 2017/18.

The Christie was chosen by Alderley Edge and Wilmslow as a number of the staff have had loved ones looked after by the well known cancer unit.

The Firefighters Charity and in particular the Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service arm, where one of the team's brother is a serving firefighter, was chosen by Knutsford. Macclesfield want their fundraising going to MacMillan Cancer unit at Macclesfield hospital, they are currently looking after the mum of one of the Macclesfield office team.

Last but not least Urmston are raising money for Willow Rose a little girl from Daveyhulme who has Muscular Dystrophy, they are being supported by Muscular Dystrophy UK.

All of the charities are on board with the fundraising and are thrilled to have been chosen and with the support & donations that the fundraising will provide.
