I was the woman trapped in the car and I would just like to say a huge thank you to the many good samaritans who stopped to help me — the passers-by who phoned the emergency services (and my husband), the off-duty nurse, everyone who stayed to chat and keep me company — and of course the wonderful emergency services themselves (thanks guys n gals, you were amazing!). Got checked over at Macc A & E and thankfully allowed home later that night. It was a pretty scary situation, but could have been much much worse. God bless and thank you!
