Waters Corporation has a long-standing relationship with The Christie Charity, supporting its pioneering work in cancer research through various fundraising activities, including the Wilmslow Half-Marathon.

In the wake of the recent fire at The Paterson Institute, many Waters' Wilmslow employees generously donated to the fire fund. On May 18th, Waters Corporation's Charitable Giving Group (based in the USA) donated an additional £10,000 to the fund.

Brian Smith, Vice President, MS Instrument Technology at Waters, said "At Waters many of us and our loved ones have a special place in our hearts for The Christie Hospital and the outstanding work they do. We were all deeply saddened to learn about the damage caused by the fire at the Paterson Institute.

"Waters is very pleased to make this donation to help get the Paterson Institute fully operational again."

Diane Hummerston, Corporate Development Manager of The Christie charity said "Waters Corporation has been a great supporter of The Christie for many years and we are so grateful for their continued support. This very generous donation will help our cancer patients both cope with and survive cancer."
