Fire crews were called to a large rubbish fire on Morley Green Road.
One fire engine from Wilmslow and one from Wythenshawe attended the incident just before 2pm on Wednesday 31st May.
The rubbish, which was approximately 10m by 5m, was put out by crews using two hose reel jets and one breathing apparatus.
