Firefighters were called to a report of a fire on Styal Road in Wilmslow at 8.40pm on Friday, 10th March.
When they arrived crews found that there was some hay in a livestock feeder on fire. A water backpack was used to put it out.
A spokesperson said "It is believed that this fire was started deliberately. If you have information that could help find those responsible please call 0800 555 111."
