Applications are invited by the Evans Arts Trust for small grants to support arts projects that bring high quality performances to Wilmslow and also make music, dance, drama and visual arts accessible and affordable to everyone.

Recent grants from the Evans Arts Trust have helped the Lindow Singers to employ young professional soloists for concerts and have supported Wilmslow Symphony Orchestra's slashing of children's ticket prices to £2, to encourage families to bring their children to experience live classical music.

The trust is a regular supporter of TEMPO and Alderley & Wilmslow Musical Theatre Company, both of which provide the opportunity for Wilmslow residents to enjoy high quality shows not only as spectators but also as participants. Earlier this month the Evans Arts Trust was delighted to support the initiative of the Cheshire Youth Pantomime Society to invite disadvantaged groups to see the show free of charge.

Whilst its sister trust, the Mabel Evans Trust has supported arts education projects at the Seashell Trust, and also provided a grant to Wilmslow Parish for the new staging at St Bartholomew's Church, creating a new performance space for Wilmslow.

The Trust can be contacted by email.

Meetings will be held on 11th February, 1st July and 11th November to consider new applications.
