Fashion Designer Jeff Banks opens new Wilmslow store

Fashion Designer Jeff Banks opened a new store in Wilmslow today (Tuesday 1st November) which will be the flagship store for his homeware range.

The shop, managed by Rachel Sanderson, stocks a selection of products designed to compliment his new range of bedlinen and curtains under the brand Pour La Maison, described as a relaxed French chateau inspired style influenced by the beautiful large houses in Provence.

Jeff Banks said "Provence is an area that has its own sense of style, yet is very comfortable and relaxed. I have taken huge inspiration from this region when designing my collection of bedlinen and curtains. I call it 'Chateau Chic'.

"I'm delighted to have Wilmslow as our first home store to introduce this brand, it's a perfect setting with a thriving high street."

Pour La Maison opened today at 3 Church Street, with a plan to have a champagne launch with Jeff in attendance during December.

We are all happy to support small companies, but we want to be assured that most of the sourcing is British and that Mr Banks is not going to support the greedy importers from the Far East and have us export precious Sterling to pay for what are sometimes poor standard goods. Transparency on sourcing is vital now that Brexit has taken place.

Good to see a new store opening in the town and I wish it well. @Raymond - not sure where have you been shopping for the last 20 years but it will be a very tiny shop if it only sells British made goods.
