Wilmslow Fire Station are hosting a coffee morning on Friday, 7th October, from 10am to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support Trust.

Wilmslow Firefighters are inviting the public to support Macmillan Cancer Support Trust by 'having a brew with their local fire station crew'. They will be serving up freshly brewed coffee and tea and home-made cakes for local residents with all the proceeds going to the charity. Children are welcome, too, and will be able to choose from a variety of soft drinks.

Safety advice for the home and road will also be given out to visitors at the station.

Firefighter Chris Gowler, who is organising the coffee morning, said: "We want to welcome as many people as possible to the station on Friday 7th October. As well as raising money for such a worthwhile cause we will be able to chat to people about home safety and answer any questions they might have. It's also a great opportunity for us to get to know our local community and, of course, for residents to get to know one another. We're really looking forward to it."

Head to Wilmslow Fire Station on Altrincham Road at 10am on Friday, 7th of October, or contact the station for further information by calling 01625 524066.
