In their regular series of Lunchtime Concerts, Wilmslow United Reformed Church explore new territory next month with a recital of brass music.
On Thursday, 6th October, two young artists from the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester will perform; Laura Wilson on trumpet, accompanied by Adam Davies on the piano.
Derek Torrington said "Everybody is welcome for this departure from the world of stringed instruments which we have explored in many of the previous concerts. Please tell your friends about it. Perhaps you can encourage them to join you by buying them a ticket. At £5 for an hour of top class musical entertainment, with a hot drink beforehand from 11.30am included, this has to be one of the best deals in Wilmslow."
He added "Not only do these concerts give us pleasure, on occasions like this they also allow us to hear and support budding performers in the early stages of their careers."
The concert will commence at 12noon and tickets can be purchased from the Church Office, on 01625 532600, which is open every weekday morning from 10am until 12 noon.
