Styal Road to close for bridge repairs

twinnies

A section of Styal Road will be closed next week to enable Cheshire East Highways to repair the bridge which was damaged in June.

It is anticipated that the works will take place from Monday 26th September to Friday 30th September when the road will be closed for approximately 50 metres either side of Twinnies Bridge.

Pedestrian access to any premises situated within the temporary closure will be maintained at all times and access for resident's vehicles and emergency vehicles will be maintained where possible.

Could this wait until the autumn of next year when the A555 is extended to the airport, otherwise Stanneylands Road is going to have to cope with a tremendous increase in traffic.
