Police officers have charged a 19-year-old man from Wilmslow following an investigation into an incident in Handforth.
Shortly after 8pm on Monday 22nd August a 16-year-old girl was walking down an alleyway between Lower Meadow Road and Brooke Way when she was approached from behind by a lone man.
The man grabbed hold of the girl from behind and touched her inappropriately; he then released the victim and fled the scene in the direction of the industrial estate.
Christian Holyoak, 19, from Manchester Road in Wilmslow will appear at South and East Cheshire Magistrates Court today (Tuesday 30th August).
Updated: Thursday, 1st September - Christian Holyoak pleaded not guilty when he appeared at South and East Cheshire Magistrates Court on Tuesday, 30th August.
He will appear at Chester Crown Court on 27th September at 10 am.
