Investigating Officer Sergeant Angela Coppock said: "We are currently following a number of lines of enquiry and as part of my investigation I'm keen to speak to anyone who was in the area around the time of the incident and believes they may have seen anything suspicious.

"Although this incident occurred in in an isolated location, this alleyway is often used as a shortcut between Handforth Dean and Handforth Town centre, so I do believe that there would have been other people in the area around the time the incident occurred."
