I am delighted to have been selected as the Conservative candidate and am keen to serve all local residents as one of their Conservative councillors.
As a total newcomer to local political life I have found it fascinating to hear the views of a wide cross section of residents in all areas of the Ward.
Most residents want to see improvements to our town centre. I agree and believe that the good work already done opens other opportunities.
Others mention housing with the acceptance that more is needed and that all decisions on the Local Plan are now with the Planning Inspector.
For those residents at the southern end of Knutsford Road, we offer reassurance that the Conservatives have already organised a pedestrian crossing.
Campaign Team Leader Ellie Brooks said "The reaction to Chetan on the doorstep has been highly positive and the vast majority of residents would favour him as their ward councillor.
"His keen interest in road safety gives support for a pedestrian crossing for Lindow Primary pupils. This is a Conservative success story after months of work with the full support of the Governors and the PTA."
