On Saturday, 23rd July, the young and old will be entertained with free Punch & Judy shows, an owl display, appearances from Peppa Pig and Frozen characters plus lots of children's activities.

Visitors will be able to enjoy Shetland pony rides, train rides, toddler golf, a barbecue and bar plus live entertainment including a performance from the Oakmere Singers, who are based at Oakmere Retirement Apartments on Spath Lane.

Additionally, there will be a wide selection of stalls to peruse from Handforth businesses, community groups and local charities including Hampers of Hope and Women's Legion. Friends of Stanley Hall Park will also be hosting a display of their plans for the new skate park.

Organiser Kerry Burgess said "It's great to see so many businesses working with us as well as the community organisations getting involved and the Mayor of Cheshire East Council will be attending at 1pm.

"This is an event not to be missed and will be showcasing the community as its best, as well as providing a boost in footfall for the area."

The Handforth Paddock Fair promises to provide a great family day out and free attractions for everyone to enjoy from 11am to 4pm on Saturday, 23rd July.

Admission is free and free parking will be available at The Paddock.
