Huge congratulations to our Under 16 Girls Football team who got their hands on some silverware last week.
Following wins against William Stanier, Weaverham and Neston earlier in the competition, the team faced Poynton High School in the final of the Cheshire Cup. Having played some fantastic football throughout the season, the girls didn't let their cup final nerves get the better of them and dominated the game from the first whistle to run out 7 – 1 winners.
There was a hat trick of goals from Emily Maslen and one each from Olivia Dixon, Amy Colledge, Alice Hutton and Eloise Wienholt.
