Firefighters were called to extinguish a log burner fire on Grove Avenue on Monday, 22nd February.
One fire engine from Wilmslow attended the incident at 10am.
The fire was in the flue area and it was difficult for the crew to reach the full height of the chimney. So they came up with a solution by creating an access point in the loft area, using small tools, which enabled them to put the fire out.
