The Police have been working with various community groups within the Lacey Green area with the intention of creating a Working Together Group.
PCSO Jim Newns has met with a number of Lacey Green community groups and discussed the possibility of holding joint meetings between representatives from each group.
PCSO Newns explains, "There are lots of good things that are happening on Lacey Green Wilmslow which benefit the community. This Working Together Group will bring key representatives together with the intention of discussing each groups progress and to offer joint support where needed to each initiative. It is also hoped that some larger joint community events will occur which will be beneficial to the community."
Some of the groups the police are hoping will be involved include Friends of the Lacey Green Park, Lacey Green Residents Group, Representatives from the Lacey Green Youth, Cheshire East Local Engagement officer, Street Sports, Lacey Green Academy, Housing Groups and local councillors.
