Hot new pizzeria fires up in Wilmslow

The first UK branch of an award winning American pizza chain has opened in Wilmslow town centre.

Alex Dino opened 900 Degrees at Parsonage Green on Monday, 14th December, and it is already proving a hit as it was packed when we called in at lunchtime today.

This new addition to Wilmslow is a franchise of 900 Degrees, a US Neapolitan pizzeria whose flagship location is in Manchester, New Hampshire.

They offer custom made pizza pies, with a wide selection of toppings which are fast fired for about 90 seconds in a wood fired oven - the average temperature of which is 900 degrees.

900 Degrees is located at 46 Parsonage Green in the premises previously occupied by Ten Little Monkeys, which has been empty since February 2014.

900 degrees! That's the temperature of molten lava. At least your pizza won't be cold by the time you get it home!

And we've still got That Pizza Place on St Ann's Parade - been dispensing quality pizzas for knocking on 20 years.
I'm not an employee just an occasional customer.
