Photographer's new show will take you on an incredible journey

A new show from an award-winning wildlife and landscape photographer is coming to Wilmslow Library this month.

Having previously worked alongside Sir David Attenborough, Ben Osborne will be talking about his amazing photographs and the incredible journeys that he has undertaken to capture them.

As part of the Cheshire Rural Touring Arts project, Ben Osborne will be talking about his 'Himalayan Journeys'.

Ben Osborne told wilmslow.co.uk "These are the hardest expeditions I have ever undertaken - they were unexpectedly dangerous and took us into some of the most remote places I have ever visited - to be honest, we were a bit naive in what we wanted to achieve but maybe that was an advantage - if we knew what lay ahead we'd never have left home!"

This show tells the story of two winter journeys to the remote places Ladakh and Zanskar, with stunning images and an entertaining and compelling commentary. It will take place at Wilmslow Library on Tuesday 20th October starting at 7.30pm.

Tickets costing £5, including refreshments, are available from the library, by phone on 01625 374060, or email [email protected].

Excellent local photography on display at Morley Green Social Club. I think that it's Lindow Photographic Club. Some pics on display are signed by Dave Bower. Impressive.
Will certainly pay a visit to the Library. Well worth a fiver.
