Wilmslow artist Liam McClair has released his debut EP this week. Titled Honest, the folk/pop record is suitable for all ages and contains 4 tracks: Honest, Alchemy, Someday and Oh Mary.

Liam, 24, is a full time musician who has supported the likes of Echo and the Bunnymen (not once or twice, but five times, not to mention dates with the band's frontman, Ian McCulloch), Kimberly Anne and Circa Waves.

He told wilmslow.co.uk "They are easy listening singer songwriter tracks that all contain honesty in their lyrics and their presentation. I am really proud of the EP and I am really happy that it has received support from BBC Introducing in Manchester, Amazing Radio, BBC 6 Music and XFM."

Honest has just got into the top 10 on the Singer Songwriter Charts on iTunes and it is 119 in the main album charts.

Having performed at the Alderley Edge & Wilmslow Beer and Wine Festival at the weekend he can be seen next at The Yard in Alderley Edge on November 6th.
