Gravel Lane will be closed for two days this week, from the junction with South Oak Lane to the junction with Cumber Lane.
The closure is necessary to enable Cheshire East Highways to carry out patching works to the carriageway.
It is anticipated that the works will take place on Thursday 6th August and Friday 7th August between 8am and 5pm.
The alternative route will be via South Oak Lane, Cumber Lane and Moor Lane.
The following week Newlands Drive, from the junction with Mayfield Grove to the junction with Gravel Lane, will be closed for one day so patching works can be carried out.
It is anticipated that the works will take place on Monday 10th August between 8am and 5pm.
Pedestrian access to any premises situated within the temporary closure will be maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles and residents will be maintained where possible.
