Car damaged by wheelie bin fire

A car was damaged by a nearby wheelie bin fire which was believed to have been started deliberately.

Firefighters were called to the incident on Park Crescent just after midnight on Monday, 6th July.

A hose reel jet was used to put out the wheelie bin fire which caused heat damage to a nearby car.

Anyone with any information is asked to call Wilmslow Police on 101 or alternatively call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.

Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service is urging residents and businesses to store all bins away to avoid them becoming a target for arsonists.
