With just a week to go, excitement is building for Wilmslow's first ever Food & Drink Week.

Organised by the Wilmslow Business Group, ticketed events are selling out, and retailers are already reporting how popular the event is proving to be.

Wilmslow's inaugural Food and Drink Week will run from Monday 16th to Saturday 21st March with a packed programme of events to celebrate everything to do with eating and drinking that is on offer in our town.

Residents and visitors alike are encouraged to discover and enjoy the range of food and drink outlets through a variety of food-related events, including wine tastings, a cake baking competition, cookery demonstrations and pie and beer tastings, as well as a selection of discounts and special offers.

The week will culminate with the Artisan Market on Saturday 21st March, which for the first time will include a chef's demonstration stage as well as giving visitors the chance to talk to food producers about how they got started with a series of food producer talks.

Events Manager Georgie Johnson said "We hope that this celebration of all that is foodie in Wilmslow will open people's eyes to the wealth of options open to them."

See our events calendar for further details on all the events.
