Stowe Family Law adds to its impressive line up of nationally recognised legal professionals with the appointment of Cheshire-based solicitor Helen Miller to its Wilmslow office.

Helen is a family law specialist with over twelve years experience across a wide range of family law disciplines. Her main focus is on resolving private disputes involving children and advising on advanced financial provisions following divorce and dissolution. She also advises regularly on cohabitation disputes, separation agreements and pre/post nuptial agreements.

"I'm delighted to welcome Helen to Stowe Family Law," said senior partner Marilyn Stowe. "Helen has strong local ties in Cheshire; she knows the area and the people and I believe she will be a real asset to our growing Wilmslow practice."

Helen graduated with distinction from Chester College of Law in 2000 and has built up an enviable reputation as a family lawyer across Cheshire. She is one of only a small number of solicitors in the area to hold 'Family Law Specialist' status through her accreditation by national family law association Resolution in 2008. It is important to Helen to maintain the highest professional standards and she adheres to Resolution's Code of Practice to always be constructive and non-confrontational and to encourage early agreement, especially where children are involved.

In 2012 her involvement in a series of high value cases gained her further accreditation in disputes involving high income households with significant assets.

"My focus is always on client service and helping families resolve their disputes, and I know that it is one of the core values at Stowe Family Law," said Helen Miller. "I am excited to be joining such a highly regarded and professional legal team and providing top quality service to the people of Wilmslow and the surrounding area."

In 2014 Helen also gained government's new 'Help and Support for Separated Families' mark which underscores her focus on helping separated families work together in the best interests of their children.

As well as being an in-demand family lawyer, Helen is also a mother of two young daughters, and when she has time between taking them to gymnastics, swimming and Rainbows, she relaxes by practicing yoga, and is an accomplished baker. In her spare time she can often be found making cakes for community organisation Free Cake for Kids Altrincham, which provides free birthday cakes to children in Trafford who might not otherwise have received one.

Stowe Family Law is the UK's largest specialist family law practice, with over 70 professionals including lawyers, forensic accountants and support staff across seven UK-wide offices in Grays Inn in central London, Leeds, Harrogate, Wetherby, Hale, Wilmslow and most recently in St Albans.
