The majority of the postboxes across Wilmslow have been repainted by Royal Mail following a request from Wilmslow Town Council.
Town Clerk Matthew Jackson explained "They started repainting them about 3 weeks ago, they have virtually all been done and look an awful lot better.
"However, the thing they have not done is the plastic boxes stuck to the side of some of them, it looks a bit strange so we have gone back to them."
Wilmslow Town Council would like residents to notify them of any postboxes that have not been repainted recently. If you come across any please email Matthew Jackson with details of the location.
