Elliot Bullman, Wilmslow's 1st team keeper, has won a place in the Great Britain U21 Training Squad and is now part of the England Hockey Development Programme.

This latest honour comes on the back of his outstanding performances for England U18s this year. Since making his full debut for England in Mannheim at Easter, Elliot has won 7 full caps (as well as being in the 18 man match squad on another 7 occasions) and has played against Germany, Netherlands, Belgium and Spain. He represented England with distinction at the recent Four Nations Tournament in Santander, leading to this latest honour.

Elliot started his career at Wilmslow Hockey Club and rapidly progressed to 1st team keeper, where he was a key member of the team that won promotion to NW Division 1 this year.

Paul Pearson, Club Chairman, said "We are obviously delighted and excited that Elliot has the opportunity of progressing from his U18 England success to potential U21 honours with GB & England. It is a great tribute to his hard work and dedication as well as the support and training he has enjoyed at Wilmslow. We wish him every success on and off the pitch as he starts his Geology degree at Kingston University."
