The annual Alderley Edge Christmas Lights Switch On event will take place from 6pm until 9pm.
London Road closes at 5pm from George Street to Clifton Street until 9pm and the lights will be switched on at 7.30pm.
Attractions this year include a live stage, market stalls, street food, children's fairground, brass band and Father Christmas.
There will be an opportunity to browse amongst the local retailers who will stay open later than usual and visit the bars and restaurants. There's a variety of acts to watch on the stage including 'Jenem' who is a local singer songwriter on her way up!
