Wilmslow Green Room is hosting their Film Club's opening night this month with a showing of The Guernsey Literary & Potato Peel Pie Society (124 minutes, 12A).
The 2018 film release starring Lily James (Darkest Hour, Mamma Mia! Here we go again), Tom Courtenay, Jessica Brown Findlay (Downton Abbey), Michiel Huisman (Game of Thrones), Penelope Wilton (Exotic Marigold Hotel) and many more.
Directed by Mike Newell (Donnie Brasco, Harry Potter & the Goblet of Fire, Four Weddings and a Funeral), The Guernsey Literary & Potato Peel Pie Society is an enchanting story told by the members of a literary society who are inhabitants of the channel islands during their German Occupation of World War 2.
Tickets go on sale via Ticket Source from Monday February 11th via the Green Room's website at a cost of £5 for members and £6 for non-members.
Doors open at 7pm for a 7.45pm film start.
