A leading British mountaineer will be talking about his climbing years at a fundraising event for East Cheshire Hospice.
Paul Braithwaite will be speaking at Alderley Edge Golf Club at an evening fundraiser organised by the Wilmslow Support Group of the Hospice.
Paul will speak about his extraordinary climbing career from the early years in the chew Valley to Alpine north faces, the Elger, Matterhorn and more. Plus expeditions to the Himalaya, Patagonia Alaska, Mount Everest and beyond.

The doors and bar will be open from 7pm on Thursday, 18th January, and the talk will take place from 7.30pm to 9.30pm. There will be a 30 minute interval for canapes at 8.15pm.
All proceeds will go to East Cheshire Hospice.
