The open air cinema evening is funded by Wilmslow Town Council.
The chosen film for this inaugural 'Cinema on the Carrs' evening is Mama Mia.
The cinema arena will open at 6pm. A performance from the 'Magic Voices' Choir of their recent highly rated 'Music from the Musicals' program, as performed at the Royal Northern College of Music, will precede the film from around 6.45pm.
Following the Magic Voices performance the film will be shown on a large digital screen, with the evening expected to end at approximately 9.45pm.
People are encouraged to bring their deck chairs, travel rugs and picnic hampers, but no gazebos please.
A Movie Themed Food Court will be available from approximately 6pm, offering hot dogs, pizza, popcorn, ice cream, donuts and a full bar service to help provide the full cinema experience.
Residents are encouraged to come early to get a good position to enjoy what should be a fun filled evening.
