5   Best coffee shop for miles!

What a find, a happy smiling face on the high street welcomes you to a gem of a coffee shop. The coffee is great, try the lemonade with real lemon taste. The Paninis are magnificent and the eclairs, well chocolate heaven!!

4   Chocolate Eclairs!!

Vittorio also does gorgeous mini chocolate eclairs (and to take away). If you fancy something and it's not on the list he'll often manage to rustle something up - like great strawberry smoothies (with REAL strawberries) . All in all a great little coffee shop

5   A Local Gem!

This littIe gem of a place is like walking into a deli in Italy itself! It takes me back to living in Bergamo 12 years ago - I can't believe I have just discovered this fantastic place! I am ashamed to say I have walked past many times and have occasionally gone to the Italian chain along the road for a coffee, but having tried Vittorio's coffee, I will be drinking the real deal from now on (I even bought a huge bag of his coffee which he kindly ground for me for my well-loved espresso maker at home!). The deli has a wonderful relaxed atmosphere and Vittorio is a great character - he made a big fuss of the children as they selected their ice-creams - again - the best I've tasted outside Italy! The paninis are delicious, great value and freshly made, and a man came to collect a huge bowl of pasta to go which he told me was 'unbelievable!'. Personally, I prefer a genuine one-off place to the mass-produced atmosphere of a chain any day. Well worth a visit!
