5   Exellent Building Work - Highly Recommend.

KJB Builders have just completed our extention which was built across the back of our house.

This has given us a large living kitchen area with sunroom. We are very happy with the end result. They start work around 7.45 a.m each day, at the end of the day they always cleaned up any mess they had made whilst working. Darren and his team are very approachable and pleasant. We were never let down, always turned up when they said they were coming. always left the site clean and tidy. First Class Builders. We would definietly use them again for any type of building work or home improvements.

Darren and his team have just completed our kitchen, which we have waited 10 years to finally get round to. After an initial meeting with Darren it was very clear he was proactive and would do what he said he would do!!! This happened in an organised and progressive manner, with clear communication and availability should anything need discussing. Darren is on hand immediately, which is very refreshing and reassuring, when labradors and children are part of the building team!!!!

I would highly recommend KJB and will definitely be using them again in the near future!!! Everyone you meet is hard working, reliable and committed to completing a polished end product!!!

Daren & his hardworking team have just completed (on time & on budget!) a full house refurbishment including steelwork, replacement windows, forming new rooms etc. for us. From quote stage to final finish Daren gave the project a lot of personal attention, offered genuine advice and progressed all jobs without making a meal of things.

The guys on site were all very friendly & approachable. I quite happily left them to get on with things & all things got done.

Daren is a believer of once weekly site meetings, which works well. We thought it was a professional way to run things.

I would highly recommend KJB. A final point worth mentioning is that I told Daren right at the start that I wanted a first class finish. He said that’s what I would get & guess what... That’s what I got. Enough said!!

Had side extension to make a garage and new kitchen added to my property. The job was competitively priced and completed to a very high standard.

Daren and his team successfully delivered the project as intended and on time. The guys on site were very friendly and always worked hard leaving the site at the end of each day in a neat and tidy condition.

Daren gave a lot of personal attention with almost daily visits to check on the work and our regular weekly meeting was most beneficial for reviewing progress and setting out the objectives for the week ahead.

5   Great garage

We had a 2 car garage built by KJB in the depths of last winter. Despite the atrocious conditions the team toiled away and rarely if ever used the weather as an excuse for not turning up. this applied not only to the workers and subcontractors, but also to the boss Daren, who made daily visits to site to review progress and check our requirements for the next stage. KJB helped us thoughout the process from choosing an architect and design at the beginning to getting building inspector approval at the end. a very good job. We would use them again.

Darren and his team are very reliable hard working and completed my patio and wall to a very high standard. Pricing for the job was very competitive, nothing was too much trouble and very tidy. I would use them again.

Darren and his team constructed a stud wall our office. The quality of the work is top class and they completed the job with very little disruption to our office. From quote to completion they were a great company, we'd certainly used them again.

We had some garden work done by KJB, fencing, wall knocking down, steps building, play house putting up etc. We were really happy with the end result.

4   Trusted Builder

Darren and the KJB team have done two jobs for me, a brick conservatory and an office conversion. No issues and all done pretty much to quotes, which were competitive.

5   KJB Builders

Took on a very large job (Extention on two sides) down Duke Street which was mostly carried out in Arctic conditions. They generally kept to quote on the non PC items and the work was carried out to a very high standard. Also they were reasonable when unexpected extra bits of work came along and didn't take advantage. Only problem is that Darren Jordan (the main guy) has very expensive taste in tea (Lap Souchong, Ceylon etc.) and this should be factored into any initial quote.

Like the Carlsberg advert - if only Carlsberg did building work?... well KJB builders come pretty close to perfection.

I've had loads of work done by them, house and roof cedar tiling, hard wood windows, french windows, decking and full patio re-config. Accurate & fair quotes. Delivery to spec and fab care and attention to detail.

They tidy up every day! (and even cut my lawn to get rid of some sawdust spillage!) I'd use them again without hesitation.
