5   Charming and efficient staff

I use the cafe regularly and have always found the staff to be charming and efficient.

The food is top quality from the farm shop and freshly cooked to order, which can take time. We need to support our local businesses or risk losing them and the character of the village.

I visited your cafe today for the second time, to be absolutely honest it was awful.

the problem was that after ordering, some 20 minutes later we were told that the item was not avaIlable!!!. After reordering we had to wait a further 30 minutes for the food to appear!!!.

After complaining we were told by the staff that there was only 1 chef on duty,

and he was doing the orders in, order.I realise that timings are important, but too wait 50 minutes for food in a cafe, is absolutely not on!!!.

To make matters worse the sandwich that I had, was of very poor quality and not worth the price that I paid. Also by the time that I had received the food the coffee was stone cold!!

I do hope that you take these complaints seriously, and that you do something about them!
