5   Great value and very welcoming

What a lovely lady Alison is, a warm and welcoming salon with realistic prices.

Made to feel at ease and came away with a wonderful new cut and colour. Have now found my new hairdresser. Would recommend to anyone. Brilliant.

4   Much better value than Little Big Heads

I've taken my 2 daughters here for their hair cut several times now. My 5 year old has a little bob and Alison cuts it perfectly and quickly for a fiver!

Having said that my 2 love having their hair cut, sit very still and don't really need a little TV to watch (as per Little Big Heads) as find looking at themselves vainly in the mirror good enough!

I've also had my haircut here (short) for £20 and Alison did a fab job!

4   Great value and very welcoming

I thought I'd try Alison Warren as it is so convenient. The girls hair desperately needed cutting and I hadn't got round to booking an appointment at their usual hairdressers. Alison did a great job, particularly as I spent most of the time fielding calls so she was pretty much left to her own devices. (re-reading this I sound such a great mum!)

You won't get any miniature TVs to keep the kiddies entertained but Alison is really friendly and patient. It's on our walk home from school and only cost £5 per cut so we'll definitely be going back - and since I tried the salon I already know of two friends who have taken their little ones to Alison, which is great.
