Established in 2007, Alderley Day Nursery has been developed by a dedicated team passionate about maximising children's potential. Every detail is carefully considered in order to create a positive and caring environment, full of exciting activities designed to unleash a child's natural ability for spontaneous learning.
Recently extended to meet demand, the setting benefits from a single storey purpose built indoor nursery and an expansive outdoor space. Our aim is to use the outside as an extension of the indoor environment, allowing children to gain first hand experiences of their natural world during this pivotal period in their development.
Alderley Day Nursery adopts the Montessori approach to learning, developed by Dr Maria Montessori through years of observation and practice. Built on a deep respect for the child and an appreciation of the special learning abilities a child has during the first 6 years of life, focus is placed on the creation of an environment rich in activities, allowing the child to teach themselves with support and guidance from knowledgeable adults.
Our priority is to exceed expectations by offering exceptional facilities, promoting the highest standards in day care within a safe and carefully monitored environment. From the varied use of outdoor space to the delivery of extra-curricular activities such as music, foreign languages and exercise classes, we aim to provide a wide breadth of rewarding experiences to ensure children are well prepared for their next step into conventional schooling.
