About Alderley Pilates

We're a renowned centre of excellence for Pilates teaching and practice. The studio was founded by Jan and Peter Bowen, who have been teaching Pilates since 2001.

You'll find a warm and welcome at our beautiful studio in a tranquil and uplifting setting - Monks Heath Hall, Chelford Rd, Nether Alderley, Cheshire, SK10 4SY.

There's sure to be a class to suit you, whether you're a complete beginner, an elite athlete, or an expert Pilates practitioner who wants to challenge yourself.

About your options

You can attend up to 30 classes per week, with a maximum of 12 people in each class so you get plenty of individual attention. Alternatively, choose from 50 timeslots where you can book a private lesson, or share a lesson with up to three of your friends.

About Pilates

Pilates targets the deep postural muscles, building strength from the inside out, rebalancing the body and bringing it into correct alignment. It helps reshape your body, achieving the perfect balance between strength and flexibility, and is a fabulous way to relieve stress and tension, conquer back pain or overcome injury.

About Body Control

All our teachers are qualified by Body Control ? Europe?s largest professional Pilates organisation. This means they teach to a high standard, customise exercises for each individual, and follow a rigorous Code of Practice.

Body Control Pilates hold Ofqual approval as the only level 4 Pilates training provider in the UK, have been at the forefront of international Pilates since 1996, and are widely seen as offering the benchmark for safe and effective teaching.
